There are many gorges in Armenia. One of them is the Andzavajour’s gorge, which is not inferior to our other gorges in its beauty.
The gorge is located 97 km from Yerevan, near the village of Yelpin, Vayots Dzor marz. The hike to the gorge can be done after climbing from Zangakatn to Gorshasar. A beautiful view of Mount Ararat opens from the top of Gorshasar.
Ansavajour’s gorge is 3 km long, 3-5 m wide and 20-25 m deep. With its interesting and unique appearance, it fascinates all those who decide to take a walk in such a beautiful place.
